Child protection course: Secondary school teachers


About this course
Combining all 5 of Bravehearts’ child protection training modules, this detailed course is tailored specifically for secondary school teachers who are working with young people in years 7 to 12.

The course provides insights into the prevalence and impacts of trauma, how to support those affected, and preventative strategies such as teaching personal safety, early identification of grooming and indicators of abuse. Best practice strategies for managing harmful sexual behaviour in a high school setting are also covered in this course.

This course is estimated to take 5 hours to complete.
